LOTR: Rise To War – All Good And Evil Factions

There are a total of six Factions in Lord Of The Rings: Rise To War. Among these six factions, four are good factions whereas the other two are evil. Read further to know every Faction’s location, special features, and faction bonus, capital, pros and cons.

1) Rohan

  Rohan is located above the Ered Nimrais range in the middle of the map. As it is in the middle of the map it’s easy to cover the nearby territories. The Rohan faction is of open plains with Rohirrim’s patrolling them on horseback. It has a faction bonus of +3 march speed that helps them move really faster in the game. Also, it has decent troops that are capable of dealing with high damage.

2) Gondor

Gonder has a faction bonus with a construction time of -5% that will help you to build forts faster than others. Its cavalry units are with high defense and good tanks. They are located in a safe spot on the lower-left corner of the map. The troops have high defense and they can take a lot of damage. It is filled with every type of resource therefore resources aren’t a problem in Gonder.

3) Lothlorien

It is located between the two evil factions on the map. As It is in the center of the map it is easy for Lothlorien to expand its territory. At the same time, it’s at risk from attacks of all the 3 sides. They are capable of leveling up their commander faster because of the extra 5% commander experience faction Bonus. The troops of Lothlorien are ranged units that are capable of dealing high damage.

4) Erebor

Erebor is safely located in the upper right corner of the map. Therefore, it is difficult for Erebor to expand its territory. This faction has a good commander that deals high damage regardless of its troops. Erebor has Conscription Time -5% as a faction bonus that helps to train troops faster than others. It is a very strong faction in LOTR that is tough to counter.

5) Mordor

Mordor is an evil Faction in LOTR: Rise To War. It is located in the southeast of Middle earth in a safe spot hence hard to get attacks by other factions. Also, hard to conquer territories because of their location. It has the slowest troops in the game. It has Fellbeast a special unit type which is the fastest unit in the game. It takes less damage from melee units but more damage from ranged units

6) Isengard

Isengard is in the middle of the three factions Gondar, Rohan, and Lothlorien. Hence it’s easy for them to claim new territories. The troops are slow as compared to all other troops in the game. It has a Conscription Cost of -10% that means it can train its army without worrying about the resources.
