Does Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden have a Multiplayer mode?

No, the game does not have a Multiplayer mode. And if you are wondering where there will be a future release, do not keep your hopes up. The Community Manager from the Devs Team, Jens Erik, said, ‘It will be a single-player only game’. So, that negates any future patches including this feature in the game. However, there is a workaround to this. While not technically Co-Op, there is a Multiplayer feature of sorts. This is in the form of the Team Creation and Squad Selection feature as Multiplayer in Mutant Year Zero Road to Eden. You will get a choice between 3 open slots on your team in which you can use multiple characters from the game. These characters can be swapped out as and when you want and will add various dynamics to your gameplay. The game even gives you control to a turn-based system within which you can control all characters on your team.

Available Team Members

Dux: One of the heroes available from the beginning. Quite adept at long-range and stealth combat. Bormin: Second hero that is unlocked since the start. A tank-like character that can play in a melee-based team. Selma: Unlocks after you meet her in The High Road. Versatile with sneak and stealth attacks. Magnus: Unlocks after House of Bones. Again, a very good stealth character. However, needs a high level of Development. Farrow: Will unlock in the Metal Fields. Small size and versatility add to stealth-based gameplay for close-quarter combat.
